Bandsintown unveils ‘Boost’ feature for concert promotion

Event discovery platform Bandsintown has launched its Boost feature, which allows artists and managers to create concert alerts for relevant fans on its app.

Explaining the new feature, a spokesperson for Bandsintown said it gives artists, managers and promoters a way to “surface” their concerts to a curated selection of users, including those following the band, those nearby the venue and actively browsing upcoming shows, and relevant fans of similar artists.
