UK’s Shambala moves to employee ownership

In a bid to maintain its independence, the festival's parent company Kambe Events has announced its transition to an Employee Ownership Trust

Kambe Events, the company behind independent festival Shambala, has announced it is transitioning to employee ownership.

The UK organisation says it will become the first festival in the country to adopt an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) as an ownership model, as its co-founders prepare to step away after over two decades at the helm.
