Solo was formed in 1985 by John Giddings, who had split up with his partner. The name Solo was chosen as it’s a musical term and felt representative of his next chapter. The company is an all-round agency service incorporating everything the artist requires on top of booking the gig.

It represents Genesis, Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, Blondie, The Kooks, Bullet for My Valentine, James, The K’s, Boyzone, Razorlight, The Corrs, Alison Moyet, Ronan Keating, Chinchilla, Palaye Royale, The Damned,…
