Uruguay has consolidated firmly on the back of high demand and the decentralisation of its cultural offer. The summer season’s biggest milestone was the historic 30th edition of the Medio y Medio festival in Maldonado.
That was joined by a high-rotation calendar at Montevideo’s Antel Arena, where Jorge Drexler, Milo J, and the regional ECOS tour sold a combined 75,000 tickets, generating an estimated $5.8m in revenue.
