Market Report: Romania

Romania’s ticketing market has entered a period of rapid consolidation and investment. PLG has completed its acquisition of bilete.ro, Entertix, and MyTicket, with plans to migrate them onto a single ticketing platform by the end of 2026.

Meanwhile, private equity firm Resource Partners has acquired majority stakes in market leader iaBilet and promoter BestMusic, underlining growing investor confidence in the sector. Live Nation has also strengthened its Romanian presence through a majority investment in promoter Emagic.
