The US remains the world’s largest and most influential live entertainment market, but this year, the spotlight has shifted firmly onto regulation.

Following the DOJ’s antitrust case against Live Nation and Ticketmaster, the company agreed to a $280m settlement and must relinquish 13 exclusive amphitheatre booking arrangements. Venues have also gained greater freedom to work with multiple ticketing providers, while artists can now engage third-party promoters at Live Nation venues.
