Secondary ticketing situation: For-profit ticket resale is banned in France, and it is illegal to resell tickets without the authorisation of the promoter or the original ticket platform. Unauthorised resale can result in a €15,000 fine, which rises to €30,000 for repeat offences. Despite this, touting still remains an issue, with key secondary platforms operating through websites registered outside of France.
