Thailand’s government’s aiming big. Following Summer Sonic Bangkok’s debut in 2024, the festival returns in this year, while Tomorrowland is officially coming in 2026 for at least a decade and Creamfields Asia will debut in December.

With big names like Dua Lipa, Black Eyed Peas, and Mariah Carey hitting venues like the 11,000-cap IMPACT Arena and ASM Global’s new 6,000-cap UOB LIVE, it’s clear live music is booming. Thaiticketmajor (TTM) is one of the leading companies here. RFID wristbands and QR codes are becoming the norm. Scalping and online scams persist – perhaps, alongside ever-expanding choice and tightening personal budgets, that’s another reason why early-bird sales continue to fall.
