Taiwan’s live music scene continues to thrive, with major acts like IU, ITZY, and Jacky Cheung lighting up Taipei Arena and the newly launched 40,000-capacity Taipei Dome hosting everything from Mayday to Andrea Bocelli.

Key primary ticketers: KKTIX, ibon (managed by 7-Eleven), tixCraft (acquired by Ticketmaster) Secondary ticketing situation: Ticket scalping in Taiwan is illegal, with anyone caught reselling a ticket for personal profit facing a three-year prison term plus a fine of up to 50 times the original price of the ticket.

Taxes & charges: VAT: 5%; entertainment tax ranges from 1% to 10%; ticketing companies charge between 5% and 6%; withholding tax is 20%
