The island nation of Singapore punches well above its weight in terms of attracting international superstars, even if they handed out $2–3m per show to ensure exclusive Southeast Asia rights for Taylor Swift

After losing numerous clients, longtime ticketing leader SISTIC continues to face stiff competition from Ticketmaster and others, especially since the latter introduced Secure Tickets, dynamic pricing models, and its fan-to-fan Resale platform. Ticketmaster are also driving digital adoption – they’ve ended sales at Singapore Post outlets, with 95% of sales now online (for SISTIC, it’s around 80%). There’s also been a recent surge in diverse pre-sale channels offering early-access tickets, especially for major acts
