A major milestone for New Zealand’s live entertainment industry was the late 2024 launch of the NZ Ticketing Code of Practice.

Key primary ticketers: AXS (owned by AEG), iTICKET, Ticketek (owned by TEG), Ticketmaster Secondary ticketing situation: There is no law in New Zealand that prevents event tickets being resold for more than face value, except where the event is covered by the Major Events Management Act 2007 (MEM Act).
