Propelled by a multitude of domestic acts breaking through, not just at home but also internationally, Ireland’s live music business is experiencing remarkable growth at the moment.

Ireland’s remarkable growth brings both pros and cons as the country only has two arenas – the 13,300-cap 3Arena in Dublin and the 4,238-cap Gleneagle Arena in Killarney. Supply cannot always match demand.

3Arena, for example, said in 2025 it was hosting 130 shows a year, with 95% of music bookings being international acts.
