Arena Market: Paraguay

Latin America welcomed its newest venue in April 2026 when Paraguay’s Arena Asunción became the “first permanent largescale events venue” in the capital, according to local press.

While not strictly an indoor arena, the new venue, occupying the former Club Atlético Tembetary site in Avenida Eusebio Ayala, will be able to host smaller productions for 1,500 guests and up to 28,000 for major concerts and festivals, with modular grandstand seating for up to 6,700.

The grand opening featured El Cumbiazo, a festival dedicated to cumbia, which was followed by Venezuelan superstar José Luis “El Puma” Rodríguez on May 12.
