2025 is shaping up to be a major year for live events in Costa Rica. With a lineup that includes stars such as Bad Bunny, Guns N’ Roses, and Foster The People, the country is increasingly becoming a regular stop on global tours.
The record was set by Bad Bunny with the announcement of his concerts at Estadio Nacional on 5 and 6 December: in just four hours, all 100,000 tickets for both dates sold out, with prices ranging from $65 to $232.
In the first half of 2025, the country saw a drop in the number of shows, not due to market demand but because of the routing of ongoing international tours. Move Concerts produced Shawn Mendes’ concert at the Anfiteatro Coca Cola in Parque Viva, with an average ticket price of $100 and sales that exceeded expectations. “In Shawn Mendes’ case, sales surpassed our expectations and reaffirm the potential of the Costa Rican market to host world-class artists,” commented Move’s Andrés Guanipa.
