Egypt’s live market has long been defined by contrasts, with world-famous heritage sites that double as concert backdrops, audiences hungry for global culture, and the persistent reality of operating under challenging economic and regulatory conditions.

Among the promoters weathering this paradox gracefully is Nacelle, the Cairo-based events outfit founded by Tito El Kachab, one of several key players shaping Egypt’s live market alongside operators such as Live Nation, Event House, and Dino Activations.

The big news here over the past 12 months is Live Nation Middle East securing a “landmark alliance” to bring international talent to Egypt’s new administrative capital city. The promoter joined forces with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) and domestic ticketing platform TicketsMarche in a “groundbreaking” partnership agreement aimed at establishing the city, located about 60km east of Cairo, as an entertainment hub.
