A key stop for international touring artists making their way through Southeast Asia, Thailand has hosted multiple sold-out shows in recent months and is home to a thriving local music scene.
“Live Nation Tero (LNT) is now presenting over 70 shows per year, with K-pop and mainstream pop driving the market,” says the company’s CEO, Neil Thompson.
“Stadium shows with Blackpink, Bruno Mars, Seventeen, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran have been hugely successful, while arena shows with Olivia Rodrigo, Treasure, Twice, Green Day, and J-Hope have sold out quickly.
“The Thai live music scene is very healthy and vibrant. Local artists are seeing growth outside of sponsored events through standalone ticketed shows and fan meetings, with ticket prices increasing to match international standards. Local festivals are performing strongly, with established names such as Big Mountain, Overcoat, Monster, and Longlay drawing capacity audiences.
