Arena Market: Costa Rica

In mainland Central America, Costa Rica has continued its foothold as the must-stop destination for international artists touring the region.

Last year, Parque Viva, which features a racetrack, a 19,000-capacity amphitheatre, and a 14,000-cap event centre, revealed plans to create a new entertainment district next to its existing facilities, with the expansion project slated to begin later this year.

The only roofed venue of its size in Costa Rica, Parque Viva can host a variety of artists and events with its configurable spaces and is located 20 minutes outside of the capital city of San José. This year, Shawn Mendes, Melendi, Quevedo, and Alejandra Guzmán will stop by.
