Arena Market: Czechia

Prague’s 20,000-cap O2 arena, which opened in 2004, is by some distance the biggest arena in the country – and the city is also home to the 13,150-cap Sportovní hala Fortuna.

Czechia is relatively well served with arenas outside of the capital, including the 10,000-cap Enteria Arena in Pardubice and the 7,200-cap Winning Group Arena in Brno. Roberte Schaffer, CEO of the O2 arena, says the venue hosts around 100 events a year, with roughly 60% of them being music.

The rest of the bookings are made up of events like hockey, equestrian jumping, motocross, and relatively new developments in the shape of talk shows and podcasts.
