Hong Kong’s venue landscape entered a new chapter in 2025 with the opening of Kai Tak Sports Park, a major multipurpose destination built on the site of the city’s former airport.
The complex houses two new live entertainment venues: the 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Stadium and the 10,000-cap Kai Tak Arena, both designed with flexibility and large-scale production in mind.
“There is a robust demand for international acts in Hong Kong, reflecting the city’s vibrant cultural scene and its position as a global hub,” says a representative of the complex. “The geographical position of Hong Kong is ideally suited for attracting international performers and productions. Its strategic location in Asia makes it a convenient stop for global artists who are touring the region.”
