Arena Market: Poland

During May’s Bridge Conference in Croatia, Richard Hörmann of pan-European promoter NuCoast Concerts highlighted Poland as a market of massive growth in recent years, describing it as “one of the top three markets in Europe.”

Konrad Kozioł, marketing and sales manager at the 17,000-cap PreZero Arena in Gliwice, sounds a note of caution. “There are plenty of shows in Poland right now. The summer is full of festivals. It’s growing really fast.

[But] we see that the wallet is not getting bigger.” He says huge acts will do good business, but it’s far from guaranteed that everyone else will. As such, the PreZero offers capacity adaptability so acts can start with modest sales targets and scale up if demand is there.
