There’s never a shortage of activity in the US live music market. With several new projects in progress across the country and a nonstop barrage of headlining acts, the past 12 months have seen the market continue to go from strength to strength.
Genres like Latin and K-pop keep expanding across the country, with globally renowned acts selling out shows in the Midwest and South in addition to the coastal hubs. Venues undergoing renovations are increasingly dialling in on fans’ live music experience, while remaining multifunctional for sports tenants.
Though worldwide ticket sales have seen a slight dip from a 2023 peak – 69.9m were sold last year, down from 70.1m in 2023, per Statista – the nation’s venue professionals don’t convey any signs of recession for this flourishing market.
